Millennials are singing the same tune about Busted's reunion tour

If you've been sleeping with the lights on and nervously anticipating Busted's reunion tour, then all your pop-punk dreams are finally coming true. The news that Charlie Simpson, James Byrne, and Matt Willis are on their way is certainly making an entire generation of Millennials very happy. Their 15th anniversary celebrations will kick off in September this year, with Hanson, New Hope Club and The Tyne supporting them in London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Swansea, Stopovers in Manchester and other places provide support. Tickets for the Hottest Tour will go on sale at 9am on March 31st, with an earlier presale on March 29th available to subscribers of the Busted mailing list.

In addition to his live shows, Busted will also be collaborating with a host of other artists to re-record some stone-cold classics. First up, they'll be releasing "The Loser Kid 2.0" on April 14th with Canadian emo band Simple Plan. According to Kerrang, All Time Low and McFly will also serve as collaborators. The band last toured together in 2015.

Their own James Bourne has enjoyed speculation ahead of the band's big announcements, and has been busy amplifying things online over the past few weeks by tweeting Busted song titles and hints. Just before the announcement, he shared a TikTok of himself running from the police, scored by Sophie Ellis Bextor. "It would be illegal to tease a Caught reunion over the past four months..." he wrote.

Busted celebrate the 20th birthday of their self-titled debut album and 2003 follow-up A Present For Every this year, which means the band - and many of its loyal fans who once had their bedrooms covered in posters of the trio - are now with Miss Mackenzie in What I Go to School for is about the same age.
