Nearly 20 years have passed since brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin formed the Jonas Brothers in 2005. The trio quickly became Disney royalty (remember Camp Rock ?) and pop music royalty. In 2011, the band took a hiatus to focus on their solo careers, eventually deciding to reunite in 2019. In the same year, they released their fifth studio album " Happiness Begins " and received the warmest welcome (return). Their single "Sucker" (performed by their IRL collaborator) even debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 . According to JoBros, another album is about to be released.
On January 30, the brothers reached another milestone when they received their own Hollywood Walk of Fame star — the 2,745th star on the walk. During the ceremony, the brothers thanked their fans, parents and brother Frankie, and paid a sweet tribute to the women in their lives.
First, Kevin thanked his wife Danielle Jonas and two daughters Alaina and Valentina. Next, Joe took to the stage to yell at the family's two daughters and, predictably, make a saucy comment about his wife, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner. "Sophie, what's up, mate? ... What are your plans after that?" he said, adding that he was trying to be as calm as his "partner in crime".
Meanwhile, Nick, who walked last, thanked his "beautiful wife" Priyanka Chopra. "I love being married to you and I love being a parent with you," he said before speaking directly to his one-year-old daughter. "Malti Marie, I can't wait to be back here with you in 15 years and embarrass you in front of your friends."
Nick also mentioned the day they reunited, saying: "I'm glad that was the day we decided we weren't going to do it anymore and we changed our minds together."
The "Jealous" singer then announced the big news. "We are excited to announce today that our new album, The Album , will be released on May 5th," the Camp Rock star told the screaming audience. “We can’t wait to see you on tour later this year.”
Joe shared a clip of their new music on Instagram and called on everyone to pre-save the album on Apple Music and Spotify. On January 30, he wrote: "Album. May 5. Pre-save now at jonasbrothers.com."

The brothers spoke to Variety about their upcoming sixth studio album, which was produced by Jon Bellion . Acknowledging that their fans span generations, Nick said: "How do we make an album that speaks to all different walks of life and age groups? ... We wanted to find a way to tell a story that's universal but also A very personal story.”
They made an album inspired by the 1970s, with the biggest inspiration coming from the Bee Gees. “They had a huge impact on our lives and we grew up listening to them with our dad,” Kevin said. "Obviously, as we grew up as three brothers in the band, we definitely understood the similarities."
But don't expect this album to sound too much like their previous work - at least lyrically. “The direction of the lyrics, the stories we were telling… it all changed a lot,” Joe said. After all, the brothers are already married and have children, so the content will be more mature.
They even shared some of the songs to look forward to on the album, including what they like and why. For Kevin, his favorite is "Holiday Eyes" because it was "the beginning of my relationship with my wife. We met on vacation - continuing this love story every day is how I want to live my life ”
For Joe, "Wings" and "Montana Sky" were his choices, with the latter "drawing on a bunch of different influences."
Meanwhile, Nick is "torn between" Birdie and "Waffle House." The former is about "parenthood affecting people in different ways," while the latter "encapsulates a moment for us." He added: "Musically, it draws on some of my favorite music: the Doobie Brothers and the Bee Gees and other bands from that era. It's a really, really fun song. . We can’t wait to play it live.”
