With Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor coming to an end, many fans will be excited to see who will receive the season 28 lead's final rose, but even more eagerly waiting to find out who will be the next Bachelor .
The campaign began earlier this year, with fans voicing their support for Maria Georgas for the lead role long before she was eliminated. Weeks later, however, there were more options to speculate about — including Rachel Nance, who was sent home after her fantasy suite in Tulum, as featured on Joey's Women Tell All special on March 18 as revealed.
So, who else is in the conversation? Here's a rundown of all the rumors and reports so far. (Potential spoilers ahead as some of these reports are based on leaks about Joey's The Bachelor finale.)
Rachel 'open' to possibilities
What's next for Rachel after saying goodbye to Joey? When asked if she would consider directing "The Bachelorette" or participating in Season 10 of "Bachelor in Paradise," Rachel told Bustle she's "open to whatever feels right at the moment."
“I’m enjoying how things are settling in so far,” she said. "I'm excited to see how things are going and my future is looking good, so we'll see what the future holds. But until then, I just want to get back to Hawaii and relax on the beach."
Maria "It would be foolish to say no"
Will Maria go to Paradise Beach, or start her own love journey at the Bachelor's Mansion? She said it was "crazy" to see people rooting for her to be the next Bachelorette. "I never thought about it. Even if I thought I was going to get this opportunity, I didn't know... it would be a crazy experience. I mean, I would have been stupid to say no."
Spoilers say...
Apparently, Reality Steve has heard the rumors about who will be the next Bachelorette. In a March 12 blog post, the Bachelor Nation commentator said he heard Mariah and Daisy Kent had made the decision. (This is based on reports that Kelsey Anderson won Joey's final rose.)
However, the blogger warned that "it's never really set in stone until it's announced." He added that filming will reportedly begin in a few weeks.
educated guess
If you want numbers to back up your single theory, Suzana Somers (@bachelordata on Instagram) has you covered. Bachelor Nation data analysts recently shared some very interesting facts about when, on the season of The Bachelorette, the Bachelorette leads are sent home.
The biggest singles lead during elimination week is Fantasy Suite, with eight women, followed by Finale and Hometown (with five and three women, respectively). So that definitely means Rachel, Maria and Daisy are all prime contenders - if they want the role.
