Unless you've been living under a rock for the last year, there's a good chance you've heard about the scandal that was revealed on multiple seasons of the Bravo show Vanderpump Rules . On the show, Ariana Maddix discovered that her partner of nine years, Tom Sandoval, was having an affair with another actor (who also happened to be one of Maddix's best friends).
The infamous scandal was dubbed "Scandoval," and while it may have rocked Maddix's world, it also led to a lot of very positive things for the reality star. She has since starred as Roxie Hart in the Broadway revival of "Chicago" and was even a finalist on the latest season of "Dancing with the Stars."
Now, Madix is taking her talents to the new reality TV show Love Island USA , where she just debuted as the new host of this season. For her first appearance, the TV personality wore a gorgeous gold gown that made her look like a goddess.
Ariana's gold 'Wet Look' gown
Madix chose a floor-length dress by designer Di Petsa. The brand is known for its signature "wet look" pieces, which are exactly what the name suggests: designs that look like they've been intentionally submerged in water. According to their website, the women's clothing brand "explores an eco-feminist relationship between women and water."
Madix's gown, the first look from the label's spring 2024 ready-to-wear show, featured a gold chain halterneck style embellished with crystals and beading. This draped dress has all-over cutouts and looks incredible on Madix.
Madix was styled by Emily Men and wore jewelry by designers Simon G. and Gemma Azzuro. She completed her gold look with gold heeled sandals by Alexandre Birman. It was a complete massacre.
This isn't her first rodeo
Madix is no stranger to the concept of the "revenge dress." Last year, she went through a scandal and she's been looking gorgeous ever since. For example, look at what she wore to the Vanderpump Rules party part two last month: a $2,300 cobalt blue sheer suit by New York designer Laquan Smith.
The two-piece slip suit is almost completely sheer and features a mermaid-like silhouette. One comment on the star's Instagram post read, "I'm having a little trouble breathing," referring to how sexy Maddix looked.
She paired it with silver sandals by Alexandre Birman, earrings by Bottega Veneta and a diamond ring and anklet by XIV Karat. The event was once again designed for her by Emily Men.
Madix seems to be doing great and I can't wait to see what other "revenge" looks she has planned for this summer.
