Taylor Swift has been feeling "so high school" lately, thanks in part to her relationship with Travis Kelce. On May 12, Swift's NFL player boyfriend attended the 87th game of the Eras Tour, matching his Kansas City Chiefs jersey number. To commemorate the coincidence, the singer decided to create some Swift Easter eggs with a Kells theme.
As Swift sang the chorus of "So High School," she blew a kiss in Kelce's direction, all but confirming that the song was written for him. Swift later chose "Alchemy" as one of her secret songs every night, which included a reference to football and a hint at her boyfriend. She also donned a very Kells-esque look for the 1989 show, and fans immediately noticed the correlation.
Kells coding look for Swift
During the May 12 Eras tour in Paris, Swift chose a yellow-and-red ensemble for her 1989 performance, which appeared to be a nod to the Chiefs' official colors. She wore a shimmering sequined yellow top and a red-orange ombre mini skirt - while Kelce danced the night away in his suite.
To match her outfit, Swift also wore custom orange and yellow Christian Louboutin ankle boots.
Swift's mismatched looks
Since the Eras tour resumed in Paris on May 9, Swift has swapped out the monochromatic crop top and skirt ensemble from the 1989 show for mismatched colors, with even the shoes taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw's fashion book. On night one, she paired a sparkly pink crop top with a sky-blue skirt that was reminiscent of Barbie and the Little Mermaid , and wore a shoe of each color.
Since then, she's made mismatched ensembles a trend. The next night, Swift performed in a purple and orange combo, and for her third show, she paired a pink miniskirt with a sequined green crop top and mismatched shoes.
Swift has more than 60 shows to go, and she'll likely make more changes to her outfits during the tour.
