Kelly Clarkson hates rewatching her old 'American Idol' episodes

Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia Barrino are reliving their "American Idol" days.

The pair reminisced about their time on the hit reality competition competition "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and revealed they weren't too keen on revisiting their previous "Idol" performances.

During the Dec. 18 interview, Clarkson, the first-season American Idol winner, asked Barrino, the third-season winner, if he had "seen what he did on 'American Idol' ?"

"I do, a good glass of wine always brings me back, I kid you not," joked Barrino, adding that she hates looking at herself "with passion."

"I hate looking at myself," Clarkson replied. “There’s not enough booze in the world to [get me through].”

After high-fiving a laughing Barrino, Clarkson continued: "I feel like if I can get through this, I can do anything. I'm like, this is hard. I'm tired."

Clarkson isn't the only former American Idol contestant Barrino has been in contact with recently.

The Color Purple star appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on December 15, reuniting with season three hopeful Jennifer Hudson after 20 years on the show.

"Fantasia, do you know it's been 20 years since we were on 'American Idol ?'" said Hudson. "I jumped on the American Idol roller coaster and it's been running ever since. I never thought I'd be sitting here."

When Hudson asked her how she recalled her Idol experience, Barrino said "working hard" was a core memory.

“I remember making great relationships and getting great gifts,” she continued. “Get up every morning, be away from your family, but keep moving forward because that’s what we all want — and look at it now.”

Clarkson won the first season of American Idol in 2002, while Barrino was crowned the winner of the third season in 2004.

Hudson finished seventh in Barrino's season and became the seventeenth EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) winner in history.
