I found Dua Lipa's platform boots, you can thank me later

ICYMI, Dua Lipa just went to Dallas. The singer took to Instagram yesterday to document her recent trip to Texas, documenting everything from a live performance with Chris Stapleton to her many It Girl outfits. While all the looks were on point, one in particular stood out: her grungy-cool bomber jacket and midi skirt paired with — wait for it — platform boots.

Lipa's shoe choice, and honestly, her entire outfit, was reminiscent of a certain tartan-and-hardware look that was popular in the '70s and early '80s, when punk subculture became mainstream (see: Vivienne Westwood and Stephen Sprouse). Given that Lipa's sartorial choices often go against the grain in the best possible way, it's no surprise that she's bringing back anti-establishment fashion.

Dua's dirty look.

The singer posed for the camera wearing a pair of black Double Stack platform boots and a plaid gray wrap skirt from R13. Since then, Lipa has stepped out in a vintage-inspired distressed beige bomber jacket, further proving her now underground fashion sense.

The singer also wore a similar pair of distressed R13 platform ankle boots in a photo of her and Chris Stapleton, which will be used as artwork for their duet - which will be released on all streaming platforms on May 20 . Two slightly different versions of the same shoe? Hey, it's not a bad move when you know what suits your style.

Dua's Exact platform boots

If you love these shoes as much as Lipa does, here's some good news: I found the exact same pair for you. They'll look stunning paired with a mini or midi skirt, baggy jeans, or even a summer dress.

In addition to her singing, the Grammy Award-winning artist is also known for her stunning fashion perspectives. Who can forget her two fashion carnage at the Academy of Country Music Awards last week? These looks were definitely dressier than her Texan outfits, but she pulled them off with just as much aplomb.

No matter where Lipa is in fashion right now, I'm loving every minute of it.
