Taylor Swift is still obsessed with jewelry. The singer resumed her revamped Eras tour with four shows in Paris from May 9 to 12. This was her first performance in the Tormented Poet department , but she did more than just change the setlist.
Over the weekend, Swift debuted several new outfits representing nearly all of her 11 studio albums.
Some eras, like 1989 , got a complete makeover with Carrie Bradshaw - inspired mismatched shoes and Easter egg dresses, while others were refreshed by the aesthetic of each scene.
fearless era
Swift took the crowd back to high school with her new "Fearless" dress. For her first Paris show, she wore a Naeem Khan beaded tank dress with shimmering gold, silver and black fringe, paired with custom black Christian Louboutin boots.
Now is the time to speak
Swift's "Speak Now" era was filled with romantic princess dresses, and she continues to debut new styles in Paris. On night one, she debuted a custom lavender Reem Acra gown with crystal swirls and shell pleats.
red era
The singer has launched three new custom Ashish T-shirts - based on her signature "Not A Lot Going On At The Moment" look - with clever sayings to excite or confuse Swifties. On May 9, Swift stepped out wearing a T-shirt that read "This Is Not Taylor's Version."
The next night, her shirt read "I Bet You Think About Me," following her Red (Tyler version) vault track. During her final show in Paris, she paid homage to her hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble."
1989 era
Swift really broke away from (or rather rocked) her new 1989 look, swapping monochromatic ensembles for mismatched outfits—right down to the shoes, like Carrie Bradshaw Bradshaw). For her first show, she wore a sequined pink ombre bra top and shimmering mermaid blue skirt, matching one shoe of each color.
The following evening, she chose an orange and purple combo, then a green and pink combo, all designed by Roberto Cavalli, paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes.
During her fourth and final show, she cleverly paid tribute to her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, by wearing his yellow and red jersey.
Reputation Era
The only piece of Eras Tour clothing that Swift hasn't changed yet is Reputation's black and red one-leg leotard. The most common fan theory is that she will finally change her look when she announces Reputation (Tyler's version) .
The age of lovers
Swift rocked the sweetheart -era "Love in the City," debuting a sparkly orange Versace jumpsuit paired with matching ombre Louboutin boots.
Of course, she donned a matching blazer for "The Man."
Folklore + Eternal Era
In the revamped Eras Tour, Swift merged the Folkore and Evermore eras into one scene, and it even reflected that in the costumes. For her first Paris show, she wore a flowing yellow Folklore gown as a nod to her Evermore wardrobe.
The next night, she debuted a new magenta version. Both dresses were custom designed by Alberta Ferretti.
midnight era
While it's no longer her latest album, Swift still refreshed her midnight look in Paris, debuting a purple chevron-patterned jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad that featured triangle side cutouts, a halter neckline and Fringed hem.
The tormented era of poets
Swift added the Ministry of Tormented Poet bill to the show. For her first look, she donned a white Vivienne Westwood gown with a corseted bodice, high-low skirt and "Fortnight" lyrics written all over it.
But before the performance's final song, "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," Swift changed outfits on stage, revealing a daring no-pants look. She stripped down to her black bra top and high-waisted underwear, then put on a circus ringleader-style jacket. The next night, she debuted a white and silver version of the outfit.
With more than 60 shows left and two re-recordings of Taylor's version about to begin, we don't know how Swift will change up her outfits in the future.
