Adele is leaving Sin City and heading to a new European location.
After teasing the upcoming launch of her latest project, Adele announced on January 31 that she will perform a series of residency shows in Munich, Germany, during the summer of 2024.
"A few months ago I received a call about a summer gig," Adele wrote in a statement. “I was too curious not to follow along and get obsessed with the idea—a one-off, custom pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I wanted to put on.”
"Just after the Euros? Come on England!" she continued. "The Olympics are next door? Come on Simone! Some of my favorite artists are performing too? Why!!"
Adele noted that she had not performed on the continent since 2016, adding: "I can't think of a better way to spend my summer and at such an exciting time , performing closer to home, and ending this wonderful phase of my life and career." Summer. Guten tag babes. "
Adele Munich show tickets
The European residency performances were originally scheduled to be held at the Munich Exhibition Center on August 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th. Due to "tremendous demand", Adele later announced four additional shows on August 14, 16, 23 and 24.
Fans hoping to secure a seat at the 80,000-capacity venue can register for tickets on the singer's website.
Adele's announcement sparked excitement among fans, with one German user writing on Instagram: "I came all the way to Las Vegas to see you and now you are finally back with me."
The four-show residency follows Adele's 2021 studio album 30 , her two major shows in London's Hyde Park in the summer of 2022, and her ongoing Las Vegas residency. Following the show Weekends with Adele (which ends in June 2024).
Adele begins her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November 2022 after it was postponed due to pandemic-era production delays Nearly a year.
