Taylor Swift's music continues to bring fans together, including this mother-daughter duo. On December 20, a fan named Jenny posted a video on TikTok about their experience bonding with their 9-year-old daughter over Swift's music.
Jenny said her daughter looks up to Swift "in everything" and has become "number one." 1 Swiftie" between the two of them. The nine-year-old also said they have had the best year with her mom, which Jenny attributed to their shared passion for Swift.
Swift commented on the video, which has received more than 270,000 likes at the time of publication. "You just remind me why this year is so special," she wrote. "I was so touched by your words. It reminded me of me and my mom and the memories we made at that age."

The fan added that she and her daughter both went to the Eras Tour separately (she in Nashville, her daughter in Atlanta), but they did see the Eras Tour movie five times in theaters together.
"These memories will last a lifetime," Jenny said at the end of the video. "I just want you to know that you changed my 'mom' heart and brought me closer to my daughter."

The TikTok video reminded Swift of her relationship with her own mother, Andrea Swift. Throughout her career, she spoke fondly of their close relationship. In 2020, she told Variety Andrea is her “guiding force.”
