Lili Reinhart just took the sheer trend in a new direction

From a seven-season regular on "Riverdale" to a role in the 2019 film "Hustlers ," Lili Reinhart has mastered the art of red carpet dressing. Whether it's a tailored suit (sans shirt) or a cutout floor-length gown, the actor knows what she likes, and it works for her.

Last week, the star opted for the latter while attending the Los Angeles premiere of her former costar and now best friend Madeleine Petsch's new film "Strangers: Chapter One." The best part? Camila Mendes was also on hand to support her bestie.

With the help of stylist Jared Ellner, the actor chose a figure-hugging bias-cut dress from Rodarte's Cruise 2025 collection. Reinhart has worn the brand on several different occasions and even starred in its Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook, so it's no surprise that she chose the brand for her latest look.

In the brand's Fall/Winter 2024 lookbook, the dress is balanced by delicate lace trim around the straps and neckline, which appear to have been removed from Reinhart's gown. However, the overall shape of the piece is similar (minus the mesh veil).

Her Riverdale co-star's outfits

Reinhart spent the past six years co-creating the CW adaptation of the Netflix series with her co-stars, Page and Mendes, who have since become close friends. From supporting each other's latest projects - in this particular outing's case - to making cheeky videos together on TikTok (they've been particularly active on their joint account BlondeBrunetteRedhead in the past, with over 12 million followers), they're A dear group of friends for one of the youngest people in Hollywood.

Back to the trio's fashion choices: For the evening, Petsch chose a halterneck gown by Glenn Martens for Diesel. Although shown as emerald green in her stylist Marie Haenn's social media posts, the style is actually charcoal grey. Mendes, meanwhile, opted for a beige high-waisted Altuzarra dress. But best of all, all three women chose neutral colors that work harmoniously in the photo — gotta make the most of this photo, right?
