Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are still in the honeymoon phase when it comes to their parenting. The singer opened up about her beau to Access Hollywood at the Fenty x Puma party on Dec. 18, saying her relationship with Rocky has evolved since welcoming their 1-year-old son RZA and newborn son Riot changed.
"As a father, I love him in a different way," she said. "It's important, it's important, it's like, it's an excitement point. It's like, 'Wow! What a leader, what a great, patient, loving (dad)."
Rarity went on to say that her children were "obsessed" with their father. "I'm just a background, I'm an extra," she quipped. Needless to say, the interviewer didn't believe Rihanna could be ignored by her own children.
"Yes! It happened!" she affirmed. "Whether it's a girl or a boy, their love for their dad is different, and I love seeing that."
Loki is equally obsessed with his children. In an interview with Complex in November, the rapper was asked if he would be willing to collaborate with his girlfriend on Puma's designs.
"I think we did a great job working together and having kids," he said. "I think this is our best creation yet. There's nothing like it outside."
RiRi’s family’s hopes
During the interview, Rihanna was asked if she had visions of becoming a mother before welcoming her children, and said her family was better than she imagined.
"You have no idea," she said. "You just hope that one day I can have children, I hope that I can make them love each other, I hope that I can be part of a family and break the generational curse and move forward and do new things and raise our children well Better than before. We grew up and all the good things."
Rihanna continued: "This is happening and I can't believe it."
