Travis Kelce isn't the only love of Taylor Swift's life. Just days after Swift's 34th birthday, on December 17, Swift's BFF Blake Lively kept the party going with a birthday celebration post on Instagram.
"Somehow she's even better in real life," Lively captioned a series of photos from Swift's A-list birthday party in New York. "Happy birthday to the one and only."
The stylish celebration, held on December 13, included dinner at Freemans Restaurant, birthday cake at Milk Bar, and an afterparty at The Box on Manhattan's Lower East Side. As seen in Lively's photos, which include candid and posed group shots as well as silly close-up selfies, the lucky party guests also included Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz, Meyer Teller, Sabrina Carpenter, Antoni Porowski, Jack Antonoff, Gracie Abrams, Esther and Alana Haim, among others.
Where are Kelce and Ryan Reynolds?
Even though Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds wasn't in the group, the Gossip Girl alum still tagged him as a party guest, presumably as part of their ongoing tradition of fun spouse-taunting. After all, Reynolds recently posted an edited photo from the London premiere of "Renaissance: A Beyoncé Movie" by replacing her and Swift's faces with his and Kelce's. To prank his wife.

Kelce, for his part, also didn't attend Swift's birthday party in New York because the NFL star reportedly had to hold a team workout with the Kansas City Chiefs following their back-to-back losses. However, after the Buffalo Bills defeated the Kelce Chiefs on Dec. 10, he and Swift reportedly held an early post-game birthday celebration in Kansas City, according to People . There they spent time with friends, took photos with partygoers and even exchanged a kiss. .
incredible year
Although several of Lively's photos are brand new, Swift has already seen some of them. That's because Swift herself shared a series of party photos via Instagram on December 14th. "Can't believe this year...really...happened?" the Midnight singer captioned her post, thanking everyone for their "beautiful birthday wishes" the day before.
When Swift was named Time magazine's 2023 Person of the Year, she looked back on a huge year that included her global Eras tour and record-breaking concert film, among many other accomplishments. "This is the proudest and happiest feeling I've ever felt, and the most creative satisfaction and freedom I've ever experienced," Swift said. "Ultimately, we can complicate it, or try to overcomplicate it, but there's just one problem. Aren't you happy?"
