There’s no doubt that Airbnb hosts are upping their game. First there were Netflix and Chill apartments in New York City; now there's a rental on Airbnb that's a replica of Vincent van Gogh's "Bedroom in Arles" painting. The creation, the result of a collaboration between Airbnb and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, takes up one room in an apartment and is modeled exactly after the famous artist's iconic masterpiece, with an attention to detail that is absolutely eye-opening. It brought the painting to life in a way that I don't think anyone could have imagined.
Van Gogh created this work in the "Yellow House" in Arles, Provence, southern France. The current Airbnb apartment, located in Chicago's River North neighborhood, can accommodate two guests. The listing explains that it's decorated in a Post-Impressionist style, with furnishings and colors that further reflect the era. Rooms are cheap too, only $10 a night! "I charge $10 just because I need to buy paint. However, I will be happy to provide you with tickets to my exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago," the host explained.
Guys, don't wait any longer because this place is booking up fast . February dates are already fully booked and March dates will be released at the end of the month.

Awesome, right? I'm impressed. Who doesn’t want to live in a painting? Recently, a number of creative Airbnb hosts have taken things to a whole new level, from allowing guests to literally watch Netflix and relax, to building and renting igloos during Winter Storm Jonas. There was travel, and then there was travel... and then there was this. And this? very cool.
