How to see who saved your Instagram posts

what to know

  • Instagram does not provide this information. Instead, ask your followers. Post a story or poll and see who saved your posts.
  • To see how many people have saved a post, switch to the creator account and select View insights under the post.

This article explains how to see which users saved your post on Instagram and how many times it was saved in total.

Unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t provide this information. Regardless of your account type, the only way to see who has saved your posts is to start asking people. Here are some ideas:

  1. Take a screenshot of the post and publish a story using the screenshot. Add some text to let your followers know what you're asking.

  2. Take a poll. Ask the post or screenshot it and give "Yes" and "No" as options and wait for the result.

  3. Use question stickers. This sets the template for asking questions.

If you're less interested in knowing who saved your post and more interested in seeing how many times it's been saved, Instagram does let you do that. But it does not apply to personal accounts. First, switch your personal account to a creator account, then follow these steps to view your statistics:

  1. Click on your profile picture to open your profile.

  2. Select the post for which you want to view the save count.

  3. Click to view insights . Some statistics appear; a bookmark icon indicates the number of times someone has saved this particular post.

Seeing who has saved your posts on Instagram may be more important than tracking likes, because when someone adds your content to their Instagram favorites, it means they liked it enough that they want to reference it later. However, there's no way to see who saved your Instagram posts or to which collections without asking your followers. The reason for this restriction may be privacy.
