The 13th-generation Fire tablet was released last summer and earned an "Excellent" rating from PCMag for its screen quality, design upgrades, good performance, and access to the Amazon ecosystem. The tablet has a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, up to 14 hours of gaming time, 4 GB of RAM, 8 MP front and rear cameras, and 128 GB of storage. This is also the version without any lock screen ads.
One of the biggest complaints about Amazon's tablets is the limitations on apps. Since they are an Amazon product, the default app store is the Amazon App Store, but there are some workarounds.
