This article explains how to cancel a retweet on TikTok. These instructions apply to the TikTok app for Android and iOS.
Undoing a republish is as easy as publishing. How to do:
Select the video you want to unforward so it can start playing.
Not sure which video you've retweeted? See the bottom of this page to see where any videos you repost are listed.
Click Share (right arrow).
Click Delete Repost . You'll see a short confirmation message.
You can only delete reposted videos using the TikTok app. There is no way to undo a retweet when watching TikTok in a web browser.
Videos you repost are more likely to appear in your followers' feeds. So when you undo a retweet on TikTok, the video will no longer appear in their feed unless they stumble across it.
Deleting a repost will not delete the original video. Only your retweets will be deleted. You won't see how many likes and comments your repost gets, but the original video will retain the likes and comments from your followers.
If you want to repost a TikTok video to be highlighted in follower feeds, click Share (the arrow to the right of the video), then click Repost . You'll know it works if "repost" becomes "remove repost" .
Please consider adding a comment after reposting the video so your friends can respond.
There are several ways to find your reposted videos. The easiest and most useful way is to open the Retweets tab in your profile. This is where all your TikTok retweets go. To get there, click on Profile and then click on the two arrows .
If you bookmarked a video, go to your profile and click the bookmark icon to find it. It can also be found in your TikTok viewing history, although it may be difficult to find if you've scrolled through hundreds of videos after retweeting it.
