Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin secretly welcome their second child

Kevin McAllister and London Tipton became parents again, but no one knew about it for months. Us Weekly first reported on March 17 that Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin had secretly welcomed their second child. The pair's new son, Carson, is reportedly arriving sometime before Christmas 2022. Bustle has reached out to representatives for Song and Culkin but did not immediately hear back.

Carson's exact birthday is unknown, he was born on April 5, 2021, along with his brother Dakota Song Culkin. The couple also initially kept his birth secret, only announcing his arrival a week later, simply telling Esquire , "We couldn't be happier." Their first son was named in honor of Culkin Sister Dakota passed away in 2008 at the age of 29. Like Dakota, Culkin and Song didn't announce beforehand that they were expecting their second child.

Song and Culkin first dated in June 2017, after co-starring in the 2019 film Changeland . Nearly a year later, she confirmed their romance but gave no specifics. "I don't like to talk about my personal life, but everything is great and I'm happy," she told Us Weekly . Song was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand in Los Angeles, and the two got engaged in January 2022.

As Song told Bustle in February 2022, she first met Culkin on another set and they started dating five years ago while filming a trip to Thailand together . "I was doing a show with a mutual friend of ours, and he came to the set, but I don't remember it," she said. "Four and a half years ago, this friend wrote and directed his first movie [ Changeland ], and he basically hired all his friends. So we went to Thailand for seven weeks to shoot."

While Song and Culkin have kept their relationship fairly private, the Home Alone alum has been open about his desire to start a family. In February 2020, he told Esquire that he and Song "have been practicing a lot" about having children of their own. "We're figuring it out and letting the timing play out," he said. "Because nothing will turn you on more than your lady walking into the room and saying, 'Honey, I'm ovulating.'"
