Best Looking Back Moments from 'Finding Dory'

Good news, fish fans: A new trailer for "Finding Nemo" was released on Wednesday, and it's filled with so many great moments that you won't be able to help yourself. You'll immediately start counting down the days until the release of this highly anticipated Pixar sequel. You know, just in case you haven't already. But some of the best moments in the new trailer are actually some very familiar scenes. Because this preview is filled with the best throwback moments that will remind you of another fish-friendly movie you probably already know and love. Sure, the cast of characters is different and the storyline is different — this time Dory is searching for her lost family — but there are still plenty of awesome throwback moments in the new Finding Dory trailer.

The whole thing feels like a long, amazing flashback. This is definitely not a bad thing. Clearly, the story has changed enough in Finding Nemo to satisfy even the pickiest of fans. But it looks like the things that made Finding Nemo so great — the environments, the jokes, the super-charming characters — are definitely coming back for a second iteration.

Just take a look at some of the best moments in the new trailer. They'll take you back to the time when Finding Nemo was first released.

1. School is still in session

Hopefully there are still smart songs sung by Professor Stingray.

2. Animals are still migrating

There's so much activity under the sea, but this time the migrating animals are stingrays.

3. Dolly is still confused

Although she seemed struck by some deeply ingrained memory, she still didn't fully understand it.

4. Marlin’s life is still influenced by Dolly

But am I right that these two are together? One of the strangest couples in animation history.

5. The little turtle is back

What would an underwater adventure be without them?

6. Marin is still as nervous as ever

Don't get it crooked. His face was filled with fear.

7. There are even cuter sharks with flaws

"I'm not a great swimmer," the man said when Dolly confronted her in what looked like an aquarium. I like a character with good human flaws.

8. There’s more to fish tank life

How Dolly got into the fish tank is still anyone's guess, but I'm dying to know how she did it.

9. There is another kind of evil person who loves fish.

Also known as the kid who doesn’t understand the fragility of an Aquarius’ life.

It's clear that this movie combines the best of the first film with the new, exciting storyline of the sequel, and I can't wait to get my greedy little hands on it. Kind of like that scary kid with the fish tank.
