How to get free, unlimited coffee from Panera this Labor Day

The only thing better than coffee is free coffee. The only thing better than free coffee is unlimited free coffee. Lest you think fun like this doesn't exist, Panera's unlimited coffee subscription is free if you sign up before Friday, July 4th. The only thing standing between you and free coffee is a few keystrokes.

Panera's unlimited coffee subscription originally launched on February 27 of this year. For $8.99 per month (tax included), members can enjoy hot coffee, iced coffee and tea as much as they like. (The only small caveat is that you have to wait two hours between refills.) Now, Panera is temporarily waiving its monthly fee, letting people get free unlimited coffee through Monday, September 7. That means if you sign up before Friday, July 4th, you can get free iced coffee through Labor Day.

Here's how to get free Panera coffee in the next few months:

  • Create a MyPanera account
  • That's it. That's all the steps.

You'll then be able to get any size and flavor of coffee every two hours, with unlimited refills in-store. You can also order through the Panera website or Panera app and receive your free coffee through Panera Curbside or contactless delivery. All you have to do is sign up before July 4th to get a free Panera coffee subscription, valid until September 7th.

On June 16, Panera Bread posted a poll on Twitter asking people if they wanted free unlimited coffee for the summer? They will achieve this if they get at least 500,000 votes in favor of free coffee by June 22. As you might expect, the Internet responded with a resounding "YES!!!" Over 87% of the votes were in favor of free coffee, but I'd love to talk to the nearly 75,000 people who said "No, I'd rather pay." (Panella cited those who voted “no” as a mockery of Starbucks.)

A medium cup of Panera coffee usually costs just over $2. So if you get more than five regular cups of coffee per month, the subscription plan is worth it. Even if you only drink a few cups of coffee a month, the free subscription plan is still worth it because it’s… completely free. In theory, you can get 12 free cups of coffee every day. you should? Probably not, but you still can .

The only caveat, aside from the two-hour wait time between refills, is that the coffee subscription unfortunately doesn't work with cold brew iced coffee, espresso drinks, or cappuccino drinks. So you just have unlimited regular Dracula coffee. I'm sure you won't be too frustrated when you get free iced coffee every two hours.
