With Valentine's Day right around the corner and chocolate becoming the dessert of choice, Ben & Jerry's has launched two new chocolate flavors. So if you're not in the mood for a box of sweet treats, ice cream lovers have you covered during the most romantic time of the year.
The latest mouth-watering flavors are Dulce De-lish and Choco-lotta Cheesecake. The Dulce-delish is a sundae combination of salted caramel, large caramel bars and swirls, topped with chocolate whipped ice cream, caramel sauce and chocolate chunks. Choco-lotta cheesecake flavors include (you guessed it) chocolate cheesecake ice cream topped with chocolate chunks and cookie swirls, topped with chocolate whipped ice cream and chocolate sauce, and even more chocolate chunks.
Ben & Jerry's launched its sundae line last January and has made a habit of introducing new and improved flavors in the new year. Ben & Jerry's sundaes differ from the original bucket recipe because these delicious treats are topped with whipped cream, sauce, and even more chocolate chunks.
You'll be able to find the latest addition to their sundae range in the frozen aisle of your local supermarket at the end of January, retailing for £5.50. Speaking of the unique flavor, Ben & Jerry's flavor guru Gabby Smith said, "This time we're taking the soft-whipped topping to the level of chocolate."
The Dulce-delish and Choco-lotta cheesecakes are made with Open Chain cocoa, part of Tony's Chocolonely initiative to ensure "companies are responsible for ensuring full traceability of the cocoa supply chain". Ben & Jerry's is partnering with Tony's Chocolonely in August 2022 to launch the Chocolatey Love A-Fair flavor.
The latest addition to Ben & Jerry's sundae lineup joins previous flavors including Cookie Vermont-ster, Hazel-nuttin' but Chocolate, Oh My! Banoffee Pie and Non-Dairy Berry Revolution Sundae.
