Supermodel Kendall Jenner has long been a fan of summer manicure designs, ever since she posted a photo of a sunflower manicure in 2019 from her longtime favorite nail salon, Modern Pamper Created by Salon. If you're looking to change up your nail design from creamy white or colorful ombre nails, then jot down some TikTokers' notes below to inject some summer fun into your manicure routine.
For a more realistic look, you can opt for a 3D sunflower nail design, like the one created by TikToker @lulusmagicalnails. The manicurist applied bright neon orange polish to the coffin-shaped nails and then added brown disc flowers to the nails. She then applied a bright yellow hue to the realistic petals and finished the look with nail polish to add some sparkle.
TikToker @alanna.does.nails shows off a trick for those looking for a lighter, simpler look. In her video, she painted her nails black, then used dark yellow polish on the petals, then used a lighter yellow to add dimension. She then painted the sunflower disks with brown polish to complete the look.
If you are a nail art lover, then you can go for a watercolor style design using a transparent base followed by white and yellow petals with brown strokes for a more realistic look. TikToker @nailsbylilypad then used brown polish to dot the center dots for the inner flowers and a warm reddish-brown tone for the outer flowers.
