Nicki & Beyoncé's "Feeling Myself" Is Everything

I don’t know about you, but when I heard that Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj collaborated on the song “Feeling Myself,” from Minaj’s upcoming The Pinkprint album, I fell to my knees and gave the credit where credit is due . The last time the two female artists collaborated was for "Flawless (Remix)" and I think we all remember clearly how great the result was. Pinkprint doesn't release until December 15th, but someone somewhere is more impatient than the already impatient fans. As it turns out, "Feeling Myself" leaked early and everyone is already going crazy for this sexy, confident song.

Beyoncé delivers the sultry, repetitive chorus, simply declaring "Feel Myself" in a commanding tone that's reminiscent of classic Bey likes "Get Down, Bitches" and "Fresher Than You." The image of the line. It's like she's not only expressing her feelings, but somehow conveying that she doesn't care who else is in the room with her; Other people have absolutely no impact on her self-esteem. And, just in case you're confused as to who is the absolute, undisputed Queen of the World, Beyoncé contributed a special verse that'll make you want to flock to the Beehive if you haven't already The hive praises her:

Changes the game when that number drops Know where you are when that number pops up I stopped the world Male or female, it makes no difference I stopped the world, the world stopped… Continued

Of course, Minaj isn't outdone in her own songs, with her rap verses being the perfect compliment to Beyoncé's parts, which include lines like "Bitch ain't got no punchlines or flow. I got both, and an empire left or so Memorable lines like "" and "With the sting of Queen B, we whip it all out because we charm girls, we're flawless, we're the poster girls for it all." ” Ultimately, the song is a triumph for Beyoncé and Minaj—ironically, it ends with: “You loved it, didn’t you, snitch?” ” You know, considering some whistleblower somewhere has leaked it to the internet. (I’m not complaining. Okay, maybe I’m complaining a little.)

As a fan of both Minaj and Beyoncé, I've urged people not to seek out the song itself, as it's definitely worth the four-day wait to listen (while loyal Bey fans and Barbie fans have already taken action to get the song from down on every website it's on). However, even if you can't listen to it now, at least not later, at least the promise of these epic lyrics in this epic song should be enough, these two epic women absolutely crushed the game (and all competition) this year. Stick to it.

"Feeling Myself" is the perfect marriage of Minaj's voice and Beyoncé's voice to perfect effect, and it's already a hit as far as I'm concerned. The music video for this song is going to be the best thing we've seen in a while. The song has already been a hit with fans, who woke up early to catch the leak before it was taken down, and just in case you need some extra encouragement to pre-order The Pinkprint so you can get it first One queued up to hear this song. It has been officially released.
