Is there a dress code for the Golden Globes?

While it may have had humble beginnings, that's certainly not a word that can be used to describe this awards show anymore. The Golden Globes have evolved into a widely celebrated night for movies, actors and fashion. Is there a dress code for the Golden Globes? Okay, maybe not a specific night per se, but the evening was definitely a formal one, suitable for dresses and tuxedos. When it comes to glamor, no one does it like Hollywood. No wonder I like watching it so much?

According to the Golden Globes website, the first awards ceremony "began as an informal ceremony at 20th Century Fox in early 1944," but by 1945 it had evolved into a formal event at the Beverly Hills Hotel. 71 years later, the Golden Globes have become a prestigious night for awarding well-deserved awards. In 2016 it still has its glamorous evening status and will be held again at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

So, the only thing that has changed over the years is the grandeur of the event and the fashion. Because things are no longer what they were in 1945, you know? See how the Golden Globes costumes have changed over the years, and get excited for what's in store for 2016.
