Even on the dullest of days, you can rely on Emily Ratajkowski to provide bikini inspiration through her swimwear brand, Inamorata. Thanks to this brand, she's always in a summer state of mind, rocking the tiniest of bikinis no matter the season or location. Fans were quick to notice that the brand went into radio silence shortly after Thanksgiving, leading some to believe the company was out of business.
After a few months of inactivity, Ratajkovsky began starring in everyone but Inamorata's swims. In April, she was the face of a Victoria's Secret swimsuit campaign, and in May, she starred in Tory Burch and Khloe Kardashian's Good American swimsuit campaign.
There were rumors that Inamorata was gone for good - until last weekend.
Emily's new swimming activity
Ratajkowski stars in a new campaign on Friday, May 31, in a bikini that continues the bright prints and bold cuts that are part of Inamorata swimwear's DNA. She wore a triangle bikini top with a bold orange pattern consisting of a sun and the brand's lettering. Her bottoms, meanwhile, were typical of the brand: a thong bikini pulled high above her hips.
While others are usually wearing bikinis on the beach or at private pools, Ratajkoski is showing off her tiny figure on the streets of New York City. She paired the patterned outfit with red sneakers and white schoolgirl socks (a styling trick Olivia Rodrigo has been using lately). She further promoted the look with hoop earrings and dainty gold jewelry, while holding a cup of iced coffee - the ultimate city girl accessory.
More bikinis, right here
Ratajkovsky produced several more sets of models, all in bright orange prints. She posed on an empty New York street wearing an underwire bra top and pleated bikini bottoms with knotted detailing.
Another version comes in a similar sunny hue. Like most, if not all, Inamorata products, this is pretty cheeky.
Immolata Drama: Review
Ratajkowski first launched her brand in 2017, and Inamorata has since positioned itself as the source for the sexiest, most sophisticated bikinis. If you need a thong suit, Ratajkowski is your north star, and Inamorata is the spaceship to get you there.
However, after six years of running a steady stream of swim content, the brand stopped releasing content entirely when it announced a massive Black Friday sale on November 24, 2024. Customers who bought items on sale took to social media to complain that their items were never delivered. .
In mid-March, the brand posted an Instagram story with an explanation: "Due to the high volume of orders during the Black Friday sale, we do experience delays on a small portion of our orders." The post also offered a message to "those who don't want to wait." We offered a full refund" and expressed our "sincere apologies."
Publications began reporting on unfulfilled orders, and in March, The Cut published "The Case of the Missing Thong Bikini." At that time, comments for the brand were closed, but the site was still up and running. However, on Friday — the day after Ratajkowski shared her endorsement of Good American swimsuits — she announced Inamorata was back.
