What's better than a Lizzo? two. Even if the second one is a "liar". The "Truth Hurts" singer finally has her own Madame Tussauds wax figure, and now's the time.
Lizzo debuted her doppelgänger on January 31 on her social media. She called the experience "meta" on Twitter, saying, "Single-handedly, one of the scariest meta moments of my life. Thanks @MadameTussauds - now I know what a duo with Lizzo is like." In the video accompanying the post, she pretends to kiss her wax figure before being horrified by her resemblance.
The statue's look was inspired by one of Lizzo's old Hollywood red carpet outfits - the white strapless Atelier Versace gown she wore to the 2020 Grammy Awards, designed by Marko Monroe. Like the original, the wax figure's dress was encrusted with crystals and was accessorized with the same jewelry and manicure that night. That night was not only a fashion event for Lizzo, it was also an event for her. She also won three Grammy Awards for Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Traditional R&B Performance.
"Lizzo is a talented and beloved pop culture icon," Madame Tussauds Las Vegas said in a statement ET Canada . "We love everything Lizzo stands for and are so excited for guests to enjoy an interactive experience that celebrates self-love, acceptance and positivity."
The Yitty founder has also posted a series of TikToks featuring her wax figures. In the first post, she wrote, "Introducing... WAXXO." In the video, Lizzo posed next to the wax figure and used popular sounds: "This." and this. They are the same thing. fraud! fraud!

In the second clip, Lizzo used Ice Cube's iconic line from "21 Jump Street" with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum: "We Jump Street We're about to jump in your ass." She seemed to be replying to a fan's comment in the caption, "What would you do with 2 lizzos?"

But she's not done yet. In another TikTok, she zoomed in on Lizzo 2.0's face and wrote: "This is not what she looks like," "She uses FACETUNE," and "CATFISH," possibly in response to the spoof. (Lizzo has a history of being attacked by critics online.)
She wrote on TikTok: "Y'all think this is a photo?! GOTCHU sucks again ahhhhhhhhhhh."

Her fans couldn't help but give her cheating advice in the comments section. "Lizzo and Elizabeth," one user wrote. Another said: "Lizzo and Lizzy first."
But there was one nickname that stood out to the "2 Be Loved" singer, who even responded with "congratulations" to the commenter: "Lizzo and lisso."
