In a new interview on SiriusXM's Hits 1, the "Only Murder in the Building" star revealed her dating requirements for anyone who wants to impress her enough to make her "single soon."
Although Gomez said she's "highly protective" about the new song, she said she's not actually that demanding — she just has some normal guidelines when it comes to dating. "I have standards, and I think I live in a world now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance," she said. "I'm not ashamed to say that I need X, Y and Z for you to be with me." She's not afraid to share those requirements with the world. "You have to be cool, man," she quipped, "and it's not like people think you're cool. You just have to be nice, make me laugh, and be nice to my family and the people around me."
Back in June, as seen in a TikTok video, Gomez proudly announced her single status to some football players who might meet her criteria - if she caught their attention. "They didn't hear me," she told the radio host. "They didn't care, so I said, 'Okay...' None of them cared."
Although her attempts to find a sporty boyfriend failed, Gomez has absolutely no problem being single and knows the right man will fit into her life when it happens.
