Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo welcome third child

Adam Levine is now part of a family of five, and no, not Maroon 5. Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, have welcomed their third child, People magazine first reported. The couple did not reveal any other details, including the baby's name, gender or exact birthday. The Maroon 5 singer and Victoria's Secret model is parents to daughters Dusty Rose, 6, and Gio Grace, 4.

The couple announced they were expecting their third child in September 2022, and Prinsloo has been sharing baby bump updates on her Instagram ever since. Just three weeks before the birth, she joked about the impending arrival of her and Levine's third child, sharing a photo of herself lying in bed with her baby bump in full view. "Tick tock," she captioned the post.

Days after the two announced their pregnancy, model Sumner Stroll accused Levine of having an affair with her. In a TikTok video that has since been deleted, she shared a screenshot of the alleged DM and claimed that after she cut off contact, he contacted her again in June 2022 to ask if he could name their upcoming child after her. In another interview with Page Six , Stroll claimed they had a "physical" relationship in 2021 but that she hadn't spoken to him in months.

The 43-year-old singer denied the accusations of a physical affair but admitted that he had behaved inappropriately. "I have made poor judgment when talking to anyone but my wife," he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram Story. "I have not had an affair, however I have crossed a line at a regrettable time in my life. In some cases it became inappropriate; I have addressed the issue and taken proactive steps to resolve it with my family That question." At the time, People reported that Prinsloo was solely focused on her family, adding that the couple planned to work on their marriage.

According to Prinsloo, expanding her family with Levine was always part of their plan. At one point, the couple even wanted five children before learning the challenges of raising two at the same time. "When I had two kids under 2, I was like, 'Don't even think about it!'" she told Entertainment Tonight in November 2021. "But I also want five kids, but I don't even want to think about it. You know, 'never say never.' We want a big family and who knows, we'll just leave it to fate. It will happen Things just happen."
