Jhené Aiko and Big Sean introduce their baby boy after long labor

A week and a half after the birth of their newborn son, Jhené Aiko and Big Sean decided to introduce their baby boy to the world. The two posted short and sweet Instagram posts about their little one, Noah Hasani, and each shared a few photos of their time in the hospital. After a long labor, Noah finally showed up, making Big Sean (real name: Sean Anderson) a father for the first time and Aiko a mother of two (her daughter Namiko was born in 2008) .

First listing his birthday and name (plus sparkly and blue heart emojis), Aiko went into detail about how Noah arrived. "After 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse and torrential rain... here he comes," she wrote, adding, "My baby Yoda, my Sani."

Big Sean also revealed some of Noah's birth story in the post. "After 24 hours of eclipse labor, which rained from the beginning of labor until birth, he was safe and sound," he wrote. "Happiness, health and everything we could ask for and more. All to you, son." He concluded with a blue heart emoji of himself along with Noah's name and birth date.

Their photo carousel shows what a long and exciting night they had. In the photo, they look happy and excited, yet completely exhausted, with their loved ones, and at the end holding Noah. Neither parent showed their faces, but Noah's little hand held his father's little hand, and the two cuddled against him. It was a sweet picture.

Aiko and Big Sean aren't the only ones with feelings for Noah. Photos of them showed some of their loved ones surrounding them in the hospital, and their friends and fans also expressed support online. "Congratulations!!!" John Legend commented on both posts, while 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla Sign and DJ Khaled all expressed "congratulations" to Big Sean's post. Ella Mai did the same for Aiko, adding "Water baby, water mama," while Tracy Oliver wrote, "Beautiful Scorpio baby!!! Congratulations, so happy for you, Jhene! You deserve all the [love] ”

For Aiko and Big Sean, having their first child has come a long way. They told Flaunt in 2016 that they first met a decade ago at producer No ID's Los Angeles studio and collaborated on Big Sean's "Beware" and "I'm Gonna Be." In September 2017, Aiko told Billboard that "he showed interest" at the time, but she already had a boyfriend; while she was single, he already had a girlfriend. It wasn't until 2016, when they released their album Twenty88 , that their timing finally came together. By then, they had been friends for years and "actually loved each other," she said.

Still, becoming a couple doesn't immediately translate into "living happily together." The pair quietly split around 2018 and became friends again before rumors surfaced that they were back together in November 2019. By 2020, they were publicly together again, but sadly they may also be facing loss. Sean's 2020 song "Deep Reverence" seemingly revealed they had suffered a miscarriage, as he sang, "Should be a billionaire based on the time I don't take off/Maybe that's why I go crazy, we lost a baby," as sources reported at the time.

After everything they've been through, Noah's arrival must be even more special.
