These Taylor Swift fan theories predict when she'll announce Reputation (Taylor's version)

Another day, another Taylor Swift theory to pour in. Although Swift just announced the upcoming release of "1989" (Taylor's version) on October 27, a full nine years after the original album was released, fans are not wasting time speculating about what will happen next. Swifties predict that the singer may announce "Reputation" (Taylor's Version) in February, based on a common theory derived from the "Karma" music video.

At the end of the video, Swift holds a latte with foam art shaped like a clock, echoing the theme of her tenth studio album Midnight . Oddly enough, she has two different colors of nails - sky blue, to represent the Swift era of 1989 , and black , to represent reputation . The blue peg is located next to the "8" on the latte clock, which Swift announced on August 9 for "1989" (TV). If this was intentional (which, for Swift, it always is), it's likely that the "Karma" manicure was also intentional to mark her re-recording of " Reputation." The black peg is next to "Two," suggesting that Reputation (TV) may be announced in February.

If this theory holds true, TikToker @alexantonides predicts Reputation will be released on April 8, 2024, citing a solar eclipse visible in the background of her "I Can See You" music video. The next total solar eclipse occurs on that date, which happens to be on a Friday, the day most new albums are released.

The Eras Tour countdown clock could indicate that the latte theory is correct, or mean a different date entirely. As TikToker @swiftieinkc pointed out, Swift started her show with a countdown that started at exactly 2 minutes and 23 seconds. February 23, 2024 also happens to be a Friday, and when you add the numbers together (2/23/24), it happens to equal Swift's lucky number 13.

This means the reputation (TV) may drop that day, or just be announced. Swift, who will perform in Sydney, Australia on February 23rd, has already made a habit of releasing her next remastered record on the Eras Tour, releasing "Speak Now" in Nashville on May 5th (TV ) and released "1989" (TV) on August 5 in Nashville. 9 Los Angeles. Regardless of what ultimately happens, it's clear that Swift will still be up to her tricks in 2024.
