Nina Dobrev hints at 'Vampire Diaries' reunion in mysterious TikTok

"The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev's mysterious new TikTok gives fans something truly worth investing in.

Ahead of several planned TVD cast reunions, the actress, who plays Elena Gilbert on the CW series, posted a video on Nov. 26 that began with her making " Shhh” motion and added a knowing wink. Dobrev then kicked out several co-stars — including Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvador) and Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett) — who pretended to hand each other phones.

Dobrev's video, set to the tune of Jack Harlow's "Lovin On Me," features a "Find My iPhone" hashtag and also features Candace King (Carol Lynn Forbes), Kayla Ewell (Vicki Donovan), Claire Holt (Rebecca Michaelson) and Michael Trevino (Taylor Lockwood) all looked confused. They weren't alone: In the comments, some fans asked: "What does this mean?!"

TVD reunion is coming

Several other commenters are excitedly anticipating the upcoming TVD cast reunion. "Don't make me scream," one fan wrote, while another added, "This is the best video I've ever seen."

While it remains to be seen whether Dobrev and her Mystic Falls friends are hinting that something bigger is brewing, several of them are confirmed to be attending Epic's I Was Feeling Festive conference, which takes place December 1-3 at Covington, Georgia, where TVD is filmed. (Event organizers also reposted Dobrev's video on Instagram, thanking her for IWFF week.)

However, many disappointed TikTok users pointed out that some fan favorites from the series, which ran from 2009 to 2017, were conspicuously absent from the video, namely star Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) ), Phoebe Tonkin (Haley Marshall) and Joseph Morgan (Nicklaus "Klaus" Mikaelson).

"The hype wouldn't be real without Ian Somerhalder and Joseph Morgan," one TikTok user commented on Dobrev's post, which racked up nearly 4 million views in a matter of hours. Another TVD fan added: "You included Taylor but not Damon?!"

Although Somerhalder (also Dobrev's predecessor) had originally planned to attend the December convention, organizers announced in August that he would "no longer attend" them.

Damon fans need not worry, though: Creation Entertainment is also planning Vampire Fan Weekend events across the U.S. in 2024, Wesley and Somerhalder have confirmed, and there are "more" cast members yet to be announced.
