Here’s hoping Olivia Rodrigo isn’t feeling “déjà vu” with her latest outfit choice. The singer upped her fashion game during the Guts tour, tapping into her punk inspirations and playful rock aesthetic for a series of Y2K-inspired looks.
However, one of Rodrigo's new outfits completely let her down, causing a wardrobe malfunction at a sold-out show in London on May 14. However, she handled the situation like a pro and kept her look impeccable without missing a beat.
Olivia's bra top
For the second part of her London show, Rodrigo wore a black bra top and shorts with purple stitching, in line with the colors of her albums Sour and Guts . She completed her look with fishnet stockings and black Doc Martens boots.
It's a classic Rodrigo look, but it's literally falling apart at the seams.
wardrobe malfunction
Ironically, while performing "Love Is Awkward," Rodrigo experienced a humiliating moment when her bra top was unhooked from the back, almost completely falling off. Like a pro, she gestured to a dancer trying to come to the rescue, without missing a note.
However, as Rodrigo and her dancers prepared for the song's viral dance break, the snaps again came loose, forcing her to laugh it off and embrace the irony of the situation. "This is so fucking embarrassing," she yelled to the crowd, using her non-mic arm to keep her top intact.
After the song ended, she quickly ran offstage to repair her costume, then joked to the crowd about the failure. "I almost blinded you, but it doesn't matter now!" she said.

Thankfully, Rodrigo has had better luck wearing other Guts Tour apparel. At a gig in Dublin the other night, she wore a sparkling silver bra top and matching high-waisted skirt, still wearing fishnet stockings underneath.
While performing in New York in April, Rodrigo turned her fishnets into a full dress, wearing a sheer cover-up over a black bra top and high-waisted shorts.
