The Bachelor 's Kelsey Anderson is uncomfortable living with Joey Graziadei. In a joint interview with Us Weekly , the recently engaged couple discussed moving in together, and Kelsey expressed one of her biggest concerns.
"I guess I'm nervous about him leaving the toilet seat open," she admitted, prompting Joey to interject, "I need to address this. We're going to take it step by step."
Joey proposed to Kelsey during the dramatic season finale of "The Bachelor ," which aired on March 25. The pair told the magazine they were currently enjoying a "happy couple's weekend" despite being separated, but were ready to live under the same roof.
"I think what I'm most excited about is being able to be so close together," Joy said of moving in together. "We finally get to do little things together." (For now, they plan to live in Kelsey's hometown of New Orleans before moving to New York City this summer.)
"I don't know if it's all early 2000s rom-coms that I've seen, but there's something about [New York] that's really funny to me," Kelsey admits. "I don't care if I hate it or love it; I just need to experience it and Joey is all for that."
The couple also addressed their unexpected spoiler after fans noticed they'd been sharing social media posts from the same spot.
"We were in a house together that weekend. We were trying to be really smart about our backgrounds," Joey explained to Us Weekly . "It was a mistake but we were shocked that people found the same background in the house."
As for the scrutiny that comes with being part of Bachelor Nation, the couple is optimistic that it won't hurt their relationship.
"We don't need reassurance from people who don't actually know us," Kelsey said, with Joy adding, "We're going to figure out how to deal with this day in and day out. We try not to focus too much on that. , because we have a lot of other things that we’re excited about that we really want to focus on.”
