Pink has the best response to fans calling her 'old'

Pink just proved she's the queen of back-slapping.

On December 12, the singer had the best response to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who commented "Pink is getting old" under one of her recent posts.

"Yes. I don't feel old though," Pink replied. "And I can still wear tights to work, and getting older is actually my first 'gratitude' every day. What a blessing it is to have life and years to live."

"Being so powerful that you can piss off complete strangers just by existing. F*** yeah, 44 times!" Pink concluded her comeback.

Fans were quick to support Pink after the exchange, with one admirer commenting: "Growing older is a blessing, you are absolutely stunning."

"You know that's what life is like? As time goes by, people get older," another fan chimed in. "Just like if you're lucky enough, you get older. That's not an insult. Getting older is a privilege, but not everyone has that opportunity. Do better."

"Growing old is a blessing"

This isn't the first time Pink has fought back against online comments about her age.

Back in 2018, one X user commented: "Wow, pink looks so old, it should be named purple."

In response, Pink joked that the user "must be from Los Angeles," adding: "There are still a handful of people in the world who choose to age naturally. I've earned every minute of my 38 years... I'll call you Little Purple Troll.”

"I think getting older is a blessing," she continued in a follow-up tweet. "If you have wrinkles on your face around your eyes and mouth, it means you smiled a lot. I pray that in ten years I'll look older because that means I'm still alive."

Most recently, in September 2023, Pink also responded to an X user who shared a post that disparaged her appearance.

"I just showed your post to my 12-year-old daughter," Pink wrote. "I explained to her that I've never met you, I don't know you, and I don't know why you went out of your way to be hateful. It was a great lesson in ignorance. Thank you."
