Jenny's Bachelor Season Finally Has a Premiere Date

Ever since Joey Graziadei's Bachelor season ended with an engagement, fans have been anticipating Jenn Tran 's love journey on The Bachelorette - and it's here.

On May 3, ABC announced that Jenn's season of The Bachelor will begin on July 8. "Planting another rose in our garden?" the network captioned Jenn's photo on Instagram.

Fans are eager for Jenn's premiere for a number of reasons. First, she'll make history as the show's first-ever Asian American lead. "Growing up, I never saw anyone like me telling their own love story on television," she said of the casting in March. "Being able to inspire a generation to be proud of their culture is something I'm extremely grateful for. The chance to find love as a Bachelorette is much bigger than myself, and I embrace it wholeheartedly."

She added that she can't wait for "all of us to laugh and cry together" before wrapping up filming her season.

What to expect from Jenn's season

While ABC has yet to share an official trailer for Jenn's season, the closest fans got was an Entertainment Tonight interview before filming — not at the Bachelor Mansion, but at Hummingbird's Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California.

“I thought a new mansion was the perfect way to break the mold,” she said at the time. “I’m going to bless it with some really good vibes.”

Apparently, the ranch will only happen on the first night, ET reports. They will then fly to Australia, New Zealand and other international destinations.

"As Sagittarius, we love traveling, being independent, and doing crazy things," Jenn says. "I don't know where we're going yet, but I can't wait to find out."

As for those of you who are into spoilers: There isn't much yet about Jenn's season. As Bachelor Nation blogger and podcaster Reality Steve recently wrote, Jenn's season has been "the least exposed" compared to other shows he's covered. So, no matter what happens, fans are in for an unexpected ride.
