Maria George Gas's father talks about his daughter's life as a bachelor

Between the rock star vibes and the Godfather-esque introduction, Maria George Gas's dad Nick quickly joined the ranks of memorable Bachelor parents on Joey Graziardi's Bachelor season. Now, just weeks after Season 28 ended, he's opening up about his daughter's journey and whether he'll see more reality TV in her future.

During an April 9 episode of the BachMakers podcast, he reflected on Maria's exit. "I think she knew his heart was elsewhere," said Nick, who didn't have anything bad to say about the breakup. "She was okay with it. What I'm telling you is, she was heartbroken or something like that - no, she wasn't."

As for the rumors about unmarried women ...

Before the final episode, Mariah was rumored to be a contender to win the next season of The Bachelorette. Reality Steve reports that he "heard" that the decision was between her and Daisy Kent, with Maria telling Buster that she would "foolishly turn down" the opportunity.

But in the end, Jenn Tran was chosen as the next Bachelorette.

When Nick was asked about his daughter's Bachelorette prospects on the podcast, he politely sidestepped any speculation, choosing to celebrate Jenn's historic casting.

"I don't think anyone should say too much about The Bachelorette because it's not fair to Jenn," said Nick, who owns a sprinkle company called Jubilee Candy. "Jenn is a great person and this is her show," he said, adding that the entire George Gass family was "cheering" for her.

But he did not hide this opinion

He did share his thoughts on Bachelor in Paradise during the podcast interview, although it 's unclear if the summer spinoff will return this year.

If it does, Nick hopes Mariah isn't among them. "The only thing I've said 'absolutely no' to is 'Bachelor in Paradise ,'" he said.

Clearly, Maria could do whatever she wanted, he admits: "She might say, 'You know what, Dad, I'll do that,' but that's the only thing I really said no to."
