10 surprising celebrity performances at Coachella 2024

The best part of Coachella isn't even in the lineup. Throughout the festival from April 12th to 14th, surprise performances by celebrities continued to emerge.

Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, the Creator headline the 2024 event, with notable performers including Ice Spice, J Balvin, Lil Uzi Vert, Sabrina Carpenter, Renée Rapp, Victoria Monet and No Doubt reunion. Many pulled out all the stops and prepared surprises, with artists including Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Justin Bieber coming to perform.

While she didn't take the stage, even Taylor Swift got in on the fun, cheering on her friend Ice Spice in the audience and her collaborator Jake backstage · Supporting performances by Jack Antonoff and Bleachers. (Sadly, Coachella queen Vanessa Hudgens wasn't in attendance this year, possibly because she's pregnant.)

Coachella kicked off with a bang when Billie Eilish made a cameo appearance at Lana Del Rey's headlining show on Friday night surprise. The two collaborated on their first single together in a sweet gesture, starting with Eilish's 2017 breakout song "Ocean Eyes" and then moving into Del Rey's 2011 debut single "Video Games," where the two sang on each other's They all sound right at home in the song.
