Few people can make everyday items look effortlessly chic like Rihanna. From T-shirt and jeans combos to sweatpants, she's mastered the ability to elevate basic pieces, often thanks to her choice of accessories.
The businesswoman was photographed leaving New York City's Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday night following the recent launch of new Fenty Beauty products. Wearing a monochrome ensemble, she made a strong case for wearing all black for spring.

Even when Rihanna is off-duty, she still manages to transform mundane pieces like a black zip-up hoodie into chic layering pieces. A fan of re-dressing, the beauty mogul styled the same sweatshirt she wore to the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix a week ago. This time, however, the mother-of-two layered it over a sheer black slip dress — complete with hood, of course — and a furry coat.
The slip dress was ankle-length and the singer paired it with a pair of low-heeled patent leather pumps with pointed toes protruding from just below the hem. The only pops of color were her candy red nail polish and lilac lip gloss.

As Rihanna has proven before, the key to successfully elevating the core pieces in your wardrobe is pairing them with the right accessories. To break up the otherwise monochromatic outfit, she grabbed a white Jumbo Flap Chanel bag, which from the looks of it could hold just about everything a new mom could need.
However, the highlight of the "Work" singer's outfit was her vintage Gianfranco Ferre sunglasses from seller Zena Bryant (also known as The Reinvintage Collection on Instagram) — and judging by their feed, these aren't Rihanna's first Came out and bought something from their well curated store.
