Gerry Turner's first post-Bachelor gig was on-brand

Gerry Turner is coming to the end of his prime bachelor days. On Friday, May 17, the reality star will make a special appearance at the Fort Wayne Minor League Baseball team's "A Night of Love and Roses" event, marking his first big performance since appearing on the show.

The event, held at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana, promises a VIP experience with Mr. King himself. Tickets are $50 and include a Q&A session with Gerry, a guaranteed meet-and-greet, and opportunities for autographs and photos. Ticket holders will also receive a "Love & Roses" wine glass and a ticket to the All-Star baseball game.

Gerry rose to fame on the debut season of "The Bachelor ," the first senior spinoff of the reality dating series. Throughout the season, fans saw the Indiana native bond with cast members including Susan Knowles, Kathy Swartz, and Leslie Fima, but it was Teresa Nester who ultimately won over Gerry heart of.

The two got engaged in the show's November 2023 finale and tied the knot in a televised golden wedding ceremony on January 4. However, on April 12, Gerry and Teresa announced their divorce after three months of marriage.

During a joint sit-down on "Good Morning America ," Gerry revealed that he and Teresa had "a lot of heart-to-heart conversations" before deciding to go their separate ways.

"We carefully looked at our situation, our living situation and so on, and together we came to the conclusion that it might be time for us to dissolve our marriage," he said.

On May 9, the Bachelorette star shared his first update since announcing his divorce. In addition to a series of photos taken at the lake (presumably near his home in Indiana), Gerry wrote in the caption, "Spending time on the lake is my favorite time of year and so is Cody!" referring to It's his dog.

“Besides her love for my dad and boating, she had a full-time job keeping geese off the coast,” Gerry continued. "Summer is coming."
