Meghan Markle Just Had Lunch at This Hot Spot in London It's a True Foodie Heaven

The royals are just like us - in their free time, they go out for lunch to lovely restaurants in Notting Hill with a team of security guards. (Okay, not quite, but close enough). A few days ago, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was spotted in London on a rare after-get off work outing for a bite to eat. Meghan was accompanied by Christian Jones, who was recently appointed deputy communications secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (aka Harry, Meghan, William and Kate).

Another diner said Jones was busy taking notes during the meal, Dellish reported. Still, whoever chose this restaurant had good taste: this restaurant in Notting Hill called Chucs is basically the brunch spot of all your rom-com daydreams. This Italian restaurant has a near-perfect 4.4 out of 5 stars and a mouth-watering menu - specializing in Italian classics, light salads and freshly squeezed juices. With elegant indoor tables, a cozy fireside area with comfy chairs, and a garden terrace, it looks like this place has just about everything. It's time to book your flights to the UK and, more importantly, book your flights with Chucs.

If you're in London anytime soon, you'll find that you can easily find Chucs — the restaurant has four branches across the city: one on Dover Street, Brompton Road, West Carriage Avenue, and another in Norton Dingshan (they even have a branch in London). France's fifth summer resort, located in the coastal town of Saint-Tropez).

The Notting Hill location is the only restaurant to offer a full Sunday brunch menu (who could blame Meghan for choosing this one), with features including homemade banana and yogurt granola, homemade bolognese pasta, black truffle bianca pizza, and Cherry Creme Brulee. Did anyone else die and go to heaven?

In addition to Chucs' dreamy brunch, each restaurant also offers a January Detox menu if you're interested. How is this going? According to a press release, the restaurant "has partnered with KX, the esteemed Chelsea private members health club, to create a healthy and delicious January Detox menu." The restaurant said, "With the expertise of KX nutritionists and Chucs Group chef Alessandro Talented by Verdenelli, the menu offers a range of healthy dishes for the festive season. “Items on the limited-time menu include three nutrient-dense beverages, quinoa tabbouleh salad, poached salmon and gluten-free pasta.

Chucs seems to have the ambience, the menu, and the royal-approved clientele—after all, those are the three most important criteria for choosing a great spot for your lunch or brunch group. If you end up dining at one of these restaurants and find yourself feeling a bit of an old-school vibe, you’re on to something: According to their website, “Chucs is a sister concept from the 1950s—inspired by Charles Finch Founder of the eponymous swimwear and men's fashion brand "We can't time travel yet, but we can book a delicious lunch at this unique place when we travel abroad.
