This article explains how to contact Snapchat support. While the company doesn't provide a customer service email address or phone number, there are several ways to let them know you need help.

During the process of contacting Snapchat, you will see self-help information. If that's not enough to help, they'll ask you to leave your phone number and email address so a support member can contact you.

Snapchat allows you to email them from their website or app. Here's how to submit a customer service request through the app:

You may be able to solve the problem yourself. You can see if Snapchat is turned off for everyone, and you can easily reset your password without contacting customer support. If the app isn't working properly, update Snapchat.

  1. Click on the profile/Bitmoji icon in the upper left corner.

  2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner.

  3. Scroll down to the Support section and select I need help .

  4. Click to contact us .

  5. Review the list of questions and click the one that best matches the issue you're experiencing. If you see another set of options appear, click the one that best suits your situation.

  6. Read the instructions that appear. This is Snapchat's way of trying to let you figure it out on your own. If you still need help, click Yes below the instructions.

    This may not appear for every question, so you may not see it depending on what you selected in the previous step. This means that customer service is not suitable to help you resolve this issue.

  7. Fill out the form with your information. In most cases, you will be asked to provide your username (if you know it), email address, phone number, and instructions for customer support to read.

  8. Click Submit to contact Snapchat.

Some companies, including Snapchat, let you message them on X (formerly Twitter). If you have an X account, please visit @SnapchatSupport and select the message icon to describe the issue.

A customer service representative may ask you to provide additional information, provide a suggested solution, or confirm that your message has been delivered to the Snapchat team.

If this is not a question but an idea or suggestion you would like to share, you can provide feedback to the company. From the list of settings in step 3, select "I have a suggestion" and fill in the relevant information in the form.

Snapchat doesn’t specify a time frame in which you can expect a response from customer service. There is also no guarantee that you will receive a reply. Unfortunately, all you can really do is sit back and wait.

The only exception is if you send a message to Snapchat on X. In some cases, you may get a response in just a few minutes.

  • To delete your Snapchat account, you need to do this through your web browser. Go to your Snapchat account page and log in. Select Delete my account . Enter your login information and select Delete Account . You will see a message stating that your account will be deactivated in 30 days.

  • You can change your Snapchat username once a year. Open the settings in the app and tap on your username . Delete the current username and write a new one. Click Change username and enter your password to submit your edits.

  • To use your public profile, open your profile page and click My Public Profile > OK . From there, you can add a picture, fill out your bio, and more.
