Zoom out... or you?

Trying to connect to Zoom but it's not working for you? Zoom may be experiencing glitches.

If you think Zoom is closed to everyone (not just you), try these quick steps to check if you're right.

  1. Check the Zoom service status page. The Zoom status page is the perfect first place to look when you're wondering, "Is Zoom working?" It breaks down every part of Zoom and shows you exactly what is currently running and what may or may not be experiencing issues.

  2. Search #Zoomdown in X (formerly Twitter). If the site isn't accessible to everyone, someone might have tweeted about it. Check the tweets, but also pay attention to the tweet timestamps to make sure they don't discuss an earlier time when Zoom wasn't working. Also note that you may receive other tweets using the word "Zoom."

    Can't access X? Try other major sites such as Google or YouTube. If you can't view them either, the problem is almost certainly with you or your ISP.

  3. Use a third-party "status checker" website. Popular options include "Down For Each Or Just Me," "DownDetector," and "Is It Down Right Now?" They will all tell you whether Zoom works for others.

If Zoom doesn't resolve your issue, there may be an issue with your internet connection.
