This article describes how to schedule email messages in Microsoft Outlook. Instructions apply to the desktop app, Outlook on the web, and mobile apps.
Outlook allows you to specify exactly when to send an email. This option is called delayed delivery. Here's where to find it and how to use it:
When composing an email, before sending, select the Options tab.
Select the three points and select Delayed Delivery .
Check the box next to Not Delivered Before .
Select the date and time you want to send the message.
Select Off in the properties window, then select Send to set up a delayed email. This will put your message in the Outbox folder until the time you specify arrives, and then send it.

After you finish composing your email, select the arrow next to the Send button, then select Schedule Send .
Choose one of the recommended times, such as tomorrow morning , or choose a custom time to choose exactly when to send the email.
Select Send to schedule it.
The application works very similarly to Outlook.com. You can find the email scheduling button in the app:
Fill out the email as usual and click the three dots > Schedule delivery .
Click a recommended time from the list or choose a more specific time .
Define the date and time the email should be sent and click Schedule .
After composing your message, select the drop-down arrow on the Send button and select Send Later . Enter the time and date and select Send .
Write your message and select the drop-down arrow next to the Send button. Select Schedule Send , select a date and time, and press Send .
