When I got my first large computer monitor, I found it hard to go back to my 13-inch laptop screen. The ultra-wide-angle Samsung ViewFinity S65TC will probably do the same thing. This 34-inch curved productivity monitor is currently on sale for $449.99 (originally $799.99) at a 44% discount, which is the lowest price I've seen after checking the price tracker tool.

Samsung ViewFinity S65TC monitor

Productivity monitors should not be confused with gaming monitors. Although most high-end gaming monitors are curved and wider than regular monitors, their specs focus on different metrics. Launched in February, the Samsung ViewFinity S65TC features a 1,000R curved display with a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 100 Hz. You won't get the same experience as a high-end gaming monitor, but it will work for most casual gamers.

Since this is a productivity screen, Samsung has given it KVM switching, allowing you to control two sources on the monitor simultaneously using a single keyboard and mouse. You can split the screen or use picture-in-picture (or picture-by-picture) to get your work done.

The ViewFinity S65TC features Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, HDMI DisplayPort, built-in speakers, and a USB3 hub. If your laptop does not have a port for Ethernet, you can also use the LAN port.
