Facebook has just launched its new Facebook Stories feature, which lets you upload a slideshow-like collection of photos and/or videos from a 24-hour period. Your friends can "like" and comment on them, and then they disappear. It also lets you know who's creeping on your timeline by showing you who's seen your Facebook Stories and what clips of them they've seen. But can you see how many times someone has viewed your Facebook Story? Will people be able to tell if you're watching and re-watching their show?
No. As with Instagram Stories, you can't tell who visits your story repeatedly and who views it just once. So if you spy on someone multiple times, you are safe and you will never know who the real Facebook stalker is. However, you can see how many times your post has been viewed in total. To get this information and who has viewed your story, click "[x] Views" in the lower left corner.
Don't want so many people to see what you do? When you upload a Facebook Story, you can limit who can see your story using an option called "Direct," which lets you choose who can see it. Otherwise, it will be sent to all your Facebook friends. You can't prevent anyone from seeing a public story unless you block them entirely on Facebook.
To use Facebook Stories, swipe right on the news feed or tap the camera in the upper left corner, upload your story, and choose who you want to share it with. You can then add videos and/or photos with stickers, text, drawings, and filters. You can even add animated face filters for the first time. Depending on who you choose to broadcast your story to, your friends will see it in the direct feature or at the top of your home screen.
