Dessert is more than just an after-dinner treat, and one British dessert maker couldn't agree more, as Rowntree's has added new products to its range of fruit jelly beans, this time adding four British dessert staples (yes, there are including apple crisp). As well as sounding absolutely delicious, they're also suitable for vegetarians which is an absolute win - so here's where to buy Rowntree's Dessert Fudge in the UK.
According to Nestlé, the sweets will hit supermarket shelves and "most major retailers" in the UK and Ireland in early February, priced at £1.29 per 139g bag.
Dessert fudge includes four pudding-themed flavors: Mango Sorbet, Blueberry Pie, Cherry Bakewell and Apple Crumble.
"Our technicians had a lot of fun making the dessert fudge and we think they did a great job," Rowntree's brand manager Meg Miler said in a press statement. “We hope consumers love them as much as we do!”
Rowntree's dessert gummies will join the rest of its vegan range, which includes Jelly Tots, regular fruit gummies and special packs offering two popular gummy flavours, strawberry and blackcurrant. To make the gummies vegan, the company changed the recipe so the candies are "slightly softer." "However, our top priority is to preserve the incredible fruity chews that have made fruit gummies a classic for nearly a century and a half," Nestlé wrote when it launched the vegan formula last October.

Other vegan ranges include Carnation Condensed Milk, a non-dairy alternative, and Nestlé Gold Latte pods, which contain almond, oat and coconut milk. Rowntree's Fruit Gums and Randoms range has yet to change its recipes to vegan, but it's only a matter of time.
