Picture yourself strolling through the streets of Spain, enjoying the lovely weather and munching on delicious churros. So what if I told you that you can now recreate this experience at your own breakfast table? Well, I can't vouch for Spanish sunshine, but I can tell you that cinnamon churro cereal is a thing right now - and can be found in your local supermarket.
We didn't think it was possible either, but this delicious Spanish treat is now available in Tesco thanks to Nestlé, who have just launched a churro version of their Curiously Cinnamon Cereal. Each box contains small churro-shaped snacks coated with a mixture of sugar and spices, and comes in around 12 servings, all priced at £2.50.
This snack is popular as breakfast in Portugal and Spain, but is often eaten as dessert in the UK. Churro is a fried dough usually sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and dipped in hot chocolate, dulce de leche or milky coffee. They're the perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth, so it's no wonder they've been one of the top recipe searches on Google during lockdown.
