Waitrose launched their new alpblossom cheese on Instagram. Produced in the alpine meadows of Germany, it has a silky texture. To top it off, it's covered in dried cornflowers, rose petals, marigolds, lavender, and vanilla, which makes it look like it's been sprinkled with pretty confetti.

Flowers and herbs are not just for decoration. They add subtle flavor and texture to nut cheeses. “Our shoppers come to our counters for inspiration, innovation and unique products they can’t find elsewhere, as well as the expertise of our partners, so this cheese is the perfect new addition,” Waitrose’s cheese buyer Alice Shrubsall told Delish.
She added: "This cheese has a very unique and delicate aroma that matches its beautiful appearance but packs a big punch in terms of flavour. Cheese is often the last meal of a special meal and this one This stunning Alpine flower will be a real highlight on your cheese board this Christmas.”
