A guide to all the celebrities voicing the new "Big Mouth" characters

Big Mouth has no shortage of celebrity guests dropping by Bridgerton High to deliver some deliciously gross-out dialogue, and season three introduces even more well-known voices to the hormonal battle. Big Mouth Season 3's star voiceover cast includes many of the previous seasons' favorites, including Nathan Fillion as himself, Aiden (the show's 2019 Valentine's Day special Zachary Quinto (a character introduced on the show) and Kristen Wiig (Kristen Wiig) returns triumphantly as Aiden. Jesse's vagina. In addition to Big Mouth veterans, season three's voice cast includes a new hormonal monster, a pansexual student, and even contributed to a Netflix series crossover.

While creator Nick Kroll once again assembled an impressive cast of guest stars for his series, there was one celebrity he failed to bring on board - Howard Stern. "I wrote him a long letter," Kroll told The Hollywood Reporter . Kroll enthusiastically asked Stern to play Gavin, the hormone monster played by Bobby Cannavale in season two. Despite Kroll's pleas, Stern declined the opportunity. While Stern may have turned down the chance to appear on Big Mouth - for now - there are still plenty of celebrities willing to lend their time and talents to a third season. Here are some of the great people you might recognize while you're watching.

Ali Wong stars as one of the biggest new additions to the cast: a freshman at Bridgerton University also named Ali. Ari's introduction to class drew attention when she dropped that she was pansexual, which prompted a lot of questions from her classmates and gave the show an opportunity to discuss sexuality outside of the gender binary.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star previously played Monica Forman-Greenwald, but she's taking on a new character in season three. This season, Peretti plays Nick's new phone, which craves inappropriate photos of its owner.

Martin Short

According to The Hollywood Reporter, when Martin Short first appeared in Big Mouth , Kroll described the character as a "Canadian pansexual magician — a role he was born to play." These three characteristics are pretty much all that Short’s character Gordy has. Gordy is the star of the Netflix fictional series Gordy's Journey, which Jay quickly became obsessed with.

Judd Hirsch

In the episode "Florida," Nick follows the family of Andrew, whose grandfather is played by Emmy winner Judd Hirsch, as they visit the Sunshine State. Hirsch, who recently came to prominence playing a Jewish grandfather, played a similar pop-pop Goldberg character on "The Goldbergs."

Andrew's father was a grumpy man, but that was nothing compared to his uncle. David Cross, of "Arrested Development" fame, plays Andrew's obnoxious Uncle Skip, who wears a gold chain and seems allergic to keeping his shirt buttoned up.

Carol Kane

Season 1 of Big Mouth introduced the world to the Hormone Monster, and Season 2 introduced viewers to the Wizard of Shame. Now, in season three, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt 's Carol Kane voices the menopausal succubus who begins to plague Barbara Glauberman.

Craig Robinson

"Big Mouth" puts a surprising amount of attention into getting the sexual and anatomical facts right, and it turns out that the writers paid the same attention to the minutiae of jazz history. "The Office "'s Craig Robinson stars as Harvey Brooks, a bona fide jazz pianist who's always been one of the best, both on "Big Mouth" and in real life. The inspiration for the Duke of Wlington.

Reta

Retta is best known for playing the often irresponsible Donna Miguel on "Parks and Recreation," but her performance in "Big Mouth" is more maternal. In the episode-long flashback "Duke," Retta plays Duke Ellington's mother, urging him to play the piano.

Just as Nick's attic contains the ghost of a historical black icon, so does Duke Ellington. In Duke's flashback episode, we learn that Duke once sought advice from the ghost of Harriet Tubman, voiced by Wanda Sykes.

The Fantastic Five

The entire Fallout cast comes to life so they can try to give Coach Steve a much-needed makeover. While the Five have yet to meet a person whose lives they couldn't change for the better, Coach Steve may be the first person they've met who's completely impervious to self-improvement.

Thandie Newton

While Missy is completely content expressing her sexuality through an imaginary Nathan Fillion, she gets a rude awakening when she's assigned a hormone monster. Missy's monster, voiced by Thandie Newton, is a little different than Jesse's monster, but still brings out the same feelings of adolescence.

While some of the celebrity voice guests in "Big Mouth" season 3 may just be one-time appearances, characters like Ari, Menopausal Banshee, and Missy's Hormone Monster are expected to be part of the show's slew of recurring characters.
