We would like to express our warm congratulations to a certain singer. Carrie Underwood announced she's pregnant with her second child in a three-part video message to fans on Instagram on Wednesday, August 8. As she wrote in the caption, "Oh baby we have so much information to share with you!"
The beginning of the video highlights the news that Underwood's album, Cry Pretty, will be released on September 14 and that she's on tour. However, the Cry Pretty Tour 360 won't start until May 2019 - with news of a big baby. The camera zoomed out and fans could see her sitting in front of a shiny balloon with "Baby" written in large letters. she says,
"You may be wondering, or asking, 'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?' Well...yay! Mike, Isaiah and I are ecstatic and excited to add to our pond Another little fish.”
For Underwood, having the album and baby news released at nearly the same time is "a dream come true." "We're so excited and so excited for you to share this with us and be a part of us. Love you guys. We'll see you on the road in 2019," Underwood concluded in the second part of the video.
Throughout the video, Underwood looks super excited to share this with her fans. If you're excited about the tour news (aside from the baby news, of course), there's a few things to hold you over until next spring when you actually see the show. Tickets for Underwood's Cry Pretty 360 tour go on sale on August 17th, with pre-sales starting four days in advance on August 13th. Her website lists all tour dates from May 2019 through October - starting in North Carolina and ending in Detroit.
As for Underwood's family, she and husband Mike Fisher have a son named Isaiah, who turns three this past February. Back in 2015, she shared the news of her son's birth with fans in a sweet tweet, captioning: "Tiny hands and feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael · Fisher - Born February 27 "Judging from her video announcement, there's no doubt little Isaiah wants to be a big brother.
While it hasn't been the easiest year for Underwood, she seems to be really on a roll now. As fans may know, the singer was involved in a horrific accident last November that saw her fall down the stairs at her home and require multiple stitches on her face. Recovering from the injury has been a "self-reflective" journey, she recently revealed to Redbook . She admitted,
"2017 was my 'off year' and a lot happened. I love when people say, 'You took a year off.' I'm like, 'You know, I filmed this, did this, I wrote this, did 'There's always a lot to do, but it's also been a very reflective year for me.'
In the September issue of the magazine, Underwood continued, "Something personal happened. I had an accident and all of that to go through...and that's life. Life is full of ups and downs, and I may have There have been more declines than increases over the past year.”
It's safe to say that things are looking up for Underwood and her family throughout the remainder of 2018 and early 2019. If anyone deserves this kind of happiness, it's her. If fans' comments on her Instagram video are any indication, they're pretty excited, even if it means they'll have to wait a while to see her in concert.
